About the Catoctin Chapter |
After an extended period of inactivity, our President, Joseph L. Dorsey, revived the Catoctin Chapter in August of 2015. The Catoctin Chapter is your local advocate for the needs of all components of our local Army Active, Reserve, and Civilian presence. From benefits to beyond, we are a non-profit organization to support you at Fort Detrick, Frederick, and Washington Counties. We know it is not just the Army at Fort Detrick. AUSA is a national non-profit organization that supports and advocates for all of our Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen throughout the country. The Catoctin Chapter serves all these branches at Fort Detrick. We provide a platform to enhance and serve in support of the Fort Detrick morale, welfare, and recreational activities. We seek to volunteer for all opportunities that bring visibility and honor to America’s Armed Forces, and benefit to the Fort Detrick military and civilian community. |
The AUSA Catoctin Chapter is small, and we need the support of new members to help expand. Our mission is to make this area a better place for Service Members, Civilians, and Local Businesses. Membership has a huge array of benefits for those who serve as well as civilians. The benefits of joining and being a member of the AUSA are long. From future career opportunities for returning soldiers to lobbying power on Capitol Hill, AUSA memberships give back to the military and the community.
If you are located in the Frederick area, we would love to hear how we can better serve you.
